On the edge of the ocean; gulls call, the sea whispers the songs of whales as they pass by. The sound of shells tinkle as they roll and shift with the tides; the fire crackles and echo’s the sounds of stories, laughter, connection; time stands still.
Marks of time, inspire the dreamers to dream, to draw, to explore and restore in the secluded sanctuary on the edge of the ocean, welcome to Whale Song.
Let the eb and flow of the tide guide your plans for the day. Discover the tea tree shrouded path at the southern end of the garden. Let the call of gulls guide you, whilst you follow the roar and quiet of the ocean’s forever changing mood.
Be transported by the flotsam and jetsam of ocean treasures, helping to rediscover the passage of time as you comb the shore for shells and driftwood – finally at rest after travelling their long journey to landfall.
Gaze upon granite boulders, where dried kelp weaves amongst the sun bleached landscape. Watch the many seabirds dive, as you restore, relax and unwind – soak it in and let time stand still.
Turn off, pause and escape to the edge of the world. Stare at the stars, watch the ocean glisten under moonlight – while soaking in the luxurious outdoor hotwater bath.
Enjoy reflecting on your beach adventures, watch the gulls glide across the ocean from the outdoor shower. Let your salty hair, sandy feet and sun kissed lashes soak as you lavish and restore in the warm water rain.
ABOUT THE SHACK
Experience the rambling stone paths, drystone walls and rough sawn timber layered with love from many years past.
Originally built by a local fisherman in the 1980’s you can now enjoy extensive private decks and the front row firepit with a view across the infinite ocean.
Watch whales migrate, yachts passby, gannets dive for fish as fishing boats haul their catch whilst Pacific gulls glide, perch on the rocky reef and call their sweetest sound.
With a drink in hand wrap yourself in a blanket and curl up by the fire, tell stories, watch the moon rise as you gaze infinitely on the restorative ocean as the glow of the day transforms to the inky black of night.
Let the immersive sound of the waves transport your mind away and restore your connection to self and nature. This is a place where dreams are shared and created.
Fall easily into your lush, cosy bed and enjoy the intoxicating sound of the ocean as you are lulled to sleep or gently raised from your dreams with the rise of the glowing dawn.
Let the sunrise softly wake you or the moon shine tempt you to explore the darkness under infinite stars and deafening silence. If you’re lucky you may even see a whale breach by the glow of the golden moonlight.
